Sagaza Madrid is a luxury fashion brand based in Istanbul’s Nişantaşı district, known for its elegant eveningwear, couture designs, and contemporary collections that blend European sophistication with modern flair. With a presence on platforms like Trendyol and a strong social media following, Sagaza has established itself as a prominent name in the fashion industry.
To elevate their digital presence and provide a seamless shopping experience, Sagaza partnered with Digital Pals, a Shopify Plus Partner Agency. This collaboration aimed to create a robust e-commerce platform that reflects Sagaza’s brand identity and caters to their discerning clientele.
The result is a sophisticated online store that showcases Sagaza’s diverse collections, from the ‘Royal Rebellion’ line to the ‘Paradiso Eterno’ series, offering customers an immersive and user-friendly shopping experience.
Challenge : Omnichannel Brand Consistency
Sagaza has built a strong footprint on local fashion marketplaces like Trendyol, where their collections regularly top charts in the eveningwear and bridal categories. While this marketplace dominance drives volume and visibility, it often comes at the cost of brand control — limited storytelling, standardized design, and price-driven competition.
Their biggest challenge was clear: despite their strong offline presence and high-performing marketplace channels, Sagaza’s own website didn’t reflect the elegance or authority of the brand. The digital flagship lacked the premium feel, technical performance, and immersive storytelling needed to match their couture aesthetic.
To shift perception and own their customer journey end-to-end, Sagaza needed to build a new online experience that wasn’t just functional — it had to feel luxurious, inspire confidence, and serve as a digital extension of their brand identity.
Our Approach / Solutions
We started the migration process with a discovery workshop, during which we established a list of requirements and functionalities that we wanted to move from the existing website. Our team provided recommendations for solutions.
The website design has been prepared based on the brand identity system and a ready-made template to speed up the work. In the next step, we added the necessary applications and integrations.
Migration of a working store with high traffic always brings some technological challenges. In the case of migration from local E-Commerce Platform , we had to address some interesting issues:
- Writing a script to export existing users and product to a format supported by Shopify imports
- Migrating active discount coupons for customer groups and individual customers
- Reorganizing collections and product tagging
- Activating user accounts after migration
- Implementing a dedicated system to filter products, changing the default filtering logic used by Shopify

To redefine Sagaza’s digital presence, we crafted a bespoke Shopify theme that encapsulates the brand’s essence of modern luxury and timeless elegance. Drawing inspiration from Sagaza’s own rich visual content, our design team curated a color palette that harmonizes with the brand’s signature tones, ensuring a cohesive and immersive aesthetic throughout the site. This meticulous approach not only enhances visual appeal but also strengthens the emotional connection between Sagaza and its audience, providing an online experience that mirrors the sophistication of their physical boutiques.
Enhanced Product Page & Cart Drawer UX
For a fashion house like Sagaza, where detail matters, we redesigned the product pages to offer a seamless and informative user experience. Product variants and key information are presented through a clean, minimalist interface — allowing users to navigate options without distraction. Collapsible tabs organize fabric details, sizing, and care instructions in an intuitive way, enhancing clarity without overwhelming the design.
To support conversions on mobile, we introduced a sticky ‘Add to Cart’ widget, ensuring effortless interaction even as users scroll through lookbook-style imagery.
The cart drawer experience was also reimagined — featuring a sleek slide-out design with a blurred background effect that adds a refined, luxurious touch. This subtle UI treatment keeps the focus on selected items while elevating the overall feel of the checkout journey.
